Yellow Night

On the evening of the 3rd July 148 (Barnsley) Squadron held a charity fundraising event for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance. This was nick-named “Yellow Night” where cadets and staff wore anything yellow and brought in a donation. The whole Squadron was awash with yellow in support of the YAA with all members taking part. We also carried out a bag packing event to add to the funds raised on the night. Both events raised a tremendous £306 for the YAA. We are proud to have raised this for the YAA and understand the fantastic work the YAA does, glad we can contribute a little.

This is the first event of many planned in the next 12 months for the YAA. The cadets working toward this goal are doing so as part of their Duke of Edinburgh Award. Both worthy causes of which I am proud to be supporting as a Squadron.

Spectemur Agendo 148.
